At this year’s Work, Pensions, and Labour Economics Study Group (WPEG) Conference, the Wage and Employment Dynamics (WED) Project held a Special Session, featuring presentations from four speakers who shared their findings from research using the WED datasets.
This annual gathering brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss the latest research, policy developments, and theoretical advancements. In this presentation, Mike Brewer (Resolution Foundation) provides a detailed analysis of wage fluctuations using comprehensive payroll data.
Labour Market Performance and Integration of Immigrant Workers- Dr. Ezgi Kaya
This presentation by ADR UK funded Fellow Dr. Ezgi Kaya (Cardiff University), examines how immigrant workers are faring in the UK labour market.
The Impact of a Rising Wage Floor on Labour Mobility Across Firms- Dr. John Forth
And finally, Dr. John Forth (City University) outlines how increasing minimum wages affect worker movement between firms.
