The WED community is continuously growing. There are constantly new projects utilising WED datasets being created, both from the WED team, and from the wider community. Here, you can find some of the many projects carrying out insightful research using the Annual Survey for Hours and Earnings (ASHE) linked with Census 2011 data, PAYE data, and Self Assessment data. Get inspired by what the data can do, or find other researchers working on similar projects to you.
Research Projects
ADR UK is advancing policy-relevant research through providing funding for a number of PhD Studentships and Research Fellowships utilising their flagship datasets. This includes the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) linked with PAYE and Self-Assessment data from His Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC), and the ASHE linked with Census 2011, each linked through the Wage and Employment Dynamics Project.
There are also dozens of other researchers who are utilising the ASHE for a broad range of research questions. You can find a list of some of these projects in these pages.
Knowledge Hub
If you are a researcher working with WED datasets, don’t forget to join the WED Community Knowledge Hub. The community allows researchers to access relevant information and engage with other ASHE data users. It is intended to serve as a platform for researchers to ask questions of each other regarding ASHE datasets or analysis using ASHE data.
