The Data Research, Access and Governance Network (DRAGoN) is expanding, and we are currently recruiting for two important roles to join our team at the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE Bristol): a Programme Manager and a Communications and Engagement Manager.
DRAGoN brings together expertise in data research, access and governance and is delivering an extensive programme of research funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). These two roles will provide vital support in helping us deliver the programme successfully and ensure that our research reaches and engages the people and organisations who can benefit from it.
Programme Manager
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Programme Manager to play a central role in the day-to-day management and delivery of DRAGoN.
Working closely with the academic leadership team, researchers and our external partners, the successful candidate will help coordinate activities across the programme, oversee its effective administration and delivery, monitor progress against key milestones, and support the wider development of the network.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong programme or project management skills who enjoys working collaboratively across a large and varied research programme.

Communications and Engagement Manager
We are also recruiting a Communications and Engagement Manager to lead DRAGoN’s communications and engagement activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the research team and our partners to communicate DRAGoN’s research to a wide range of audiences. The role will help develop our communications and engagement strategy, promote our research and activities, support events and stakeholder engagement, and help demonstrate the wider impact of the programme.
We are particularly interested in someone who can translate complex research and ideas into engaging and accessible communications and who is enthusiastic about building relationships with different audiences and stakeholders.
